BINOCAR Registers

British and Irish Network of
Congenital Anomaly Researchers

Our Research

From October 2009 to 2014, BINOCAR had REC approval as a research database (REC Ref:09/H0405/48). A list of past projects can be viewed here.

Following the transfer of surveillance functions of the regional English registers to NCARDRS in April 2015, BINOCAR had been working to create a new research database (BINOCARD) consisting of historical data up to 31 March 2015 linked to long-term outcomes. Current and upcoming projects making use of BINOCARD can be found here.

Please contact individual registers for further details of research activities undertaken locally.
