British Isles Network of Congenital Anomaly Registers

Management

BINOCAR has a newly established management committee that intends to meet two or three times per year to review issues such as IT security, confidentiality, consent, data quality and the enhancement of data collection across the British Isles. In addition the committee organises an annual scientific meeting to which any interested parties are invited.

The Birth Defects Foundation is closely involved with BINOCAR and has a representative on the Management Committee. Information is provided via the Birth Defects Foundation or by the registers as requested to parental support groups for those with specific anomalies.
