HQIP agrees BINOCAR funding

The National Congenital Anomaly System (NCAS), run by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), ceased to function at the end of 2009. The Health Quality Improvement Programme (HQIP) has agreed to fund BINOCAR for one year (in the first instance) to carry out congenital anomaly surveillance for those areas covered by regional registers for England and Wales.
