EUROlinkCAT: Establishing a linked European Cohort of Children with Congenital Anomalies
Chief Investigator: Prof Joan Morris (SGUL)
EUROlinkCAT is a collaborative project involving over 20 EUROCAT congenital anomaly registries in 14 countries across Europe whose aims are to investigate the long-term survival, health and educational outcomes of children born with congenital anomalies. By pooling data on an estimated 200,000 children born with congenital anomalies between 1995-2014 up to age 10, the project will be able to deliver important and robust findings that can lead to the optimisation of personalised care and treatment decisions for children with rare congenital anomalies.
Researchers at St George's University of London will analyse eligible cases from the English registries contained in the BINOCARD database in accordance with centrally developed protocols and contribute results to the EUROlinkCAT project.
More information on EUROlinkCAT can be found on the project website.
